Citizen Scientific Workshop offers two levels of plastic recycling machines: the Basic and the Pro.

Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast or a sustainability expert ready to make a bigger impact, we have the perfect machine for you. Our Basic models are great for beginners, while the Pro machines are built for seasoned users looking to turn plastic waste into new possibilities.

Our machine designs are based on Underwriter Laboratory (UL) recommendations, and are designed with several layers of electrical safety to minimize chances of accidents.

We also use only high-quality components and materials. One especially critical example is our use of 0.25″ AR500 steel for shredder blades. These blades stay sharp and have a long lifetime compared with thinner blades, or blades made using either mild or stainless steel. AR500 steel is more than 2x harder than mild and stainless steel, has better abrasion resistance, and is less likely to rust compared with mild steel.

This overall approach to safety and durability results in recycling machines of extremely high quality. This focus on quality, coupled with our ability to accept purchase orders, makes our Polyvora line of machines the ideal solution for schools, small businesses, and DIYers.

We also make molds for use with the plastic recycling machines. The molds allow you to create shaped products, ranging from beams to blocks to tiles.
